Iraq: Holy shrines prepare to commemorate martyrdom anniversary of Sayyeda Fatima al-Zahra
In an atmosphere of sorrow, Iraq’s holy shrines have been covered in black banners in preparation for commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of Sayyeda Fatimah al-Zahra, peace be upon her, based on the 75-day narration following Prophet Muhammad’s passing, peace be upon him and his family.
According to Shia Waves correspondent, the holy shrines in Holy Najaf and Karbala have covered their courtyards with sorrowful inscriptions honoring this painful memory of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.
According to officials, the holy shrines are fully prepared to receive mourning processions from across Iraq and abroad, hosting lectures and gatherings to highlight Sayyeda Fatimah’s life, her role in defending Islam, and her esteemed status in the Prophet’s family.
