Honourable residence of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi celebrates blessed births of Holy Prophet, Imam al-Sadiq

The honourable residence of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, in the holy city of Qom, hosted celebrations on Saturday, 17th Rabi’ al-Awwal 1446 AH, marking the birth anniversaries of the Holy Prophet and Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq, peace be upon them.

Large crowds of scholars, believers, and visitors to the holy shrine of Sayyeda Fatima al-Ma’suma, peace be upon her, gathered in Grand Ayatollah Shirazi’s house to extend their congratulations to the Shirazi authority on this auspicious occasion. Ayatollah Sayyid Hussein al-Shirazi, the son of the Grand Marja, received the the believers.

The official website of his Eminence reported that organizations and centers affiliated to the Supreme Religious Authority around the world held major celebrations, where the occasion was marked with religious and cultural activities, emphasizing the importance of understanding the life of the Prophet and the role of Imam al-Sadiq in spreading Islamic knowledge and solidifying the foundations of the religion.

It should be mentioned that these celebrations are part of the ten-day event in commemoration of the blessed births of the Holy Prophet and Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq, peace be upon them, continuing from the 16th to the 25th of the current month of Rabi’ al-Awwal.
