Grand Ayatollah Shirazi urges Muslims to return to authentic teachings of Islam
The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has emphasized the urgent need to return to the teachings of authentic Islam and the path laid out by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his pure family (peace be upon them).
In a recent statement published on his official website, the Grand Marja highlighted that these teachings offer comprehensive solutions for organizing the lives of individuals and communities across various aspects. He affirmed that commitment to these Islamic principles is essential for achieving balance and stability in all areas of life.
Grand Ayatollah Shirazi remarked, “In the Holy Quran and the noble hadiths, there are keys to correctly organizing people’s affairs, whether in politics, society, education, economics, family, or interpersonal relationships. There is no path for us except returning to the teachings of Islam.”
He clarified that Islamic teachings extend beyond mere spiritual dimensions; they encompass all facets of life and provide practical solutions and noble values that contribute to building a just and cohesive society.
He further stated that authentic Muhammadan Islam is not simply a collection of religious rituals; it represents a comprehensive approach to addressing everyday life issues and advocates for a society grounded in justice and social solidarity.
The Supreme Religious Authority urged everyone to draw from Islamic teachings in all areas of life, asserting that adherence to these principles is crucial for overcoming the crises and challenges facing communities today, emphasizing that returning to these teachings will be pivotal in achieving success and stability in both the present and future.
