Grand Ayatollah Shirazi emphasizes need to learn virtues of patience from Imam Hussein

The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has stressed the need to learn from Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, the virtues of patience and endurance against spiritual and psychological harm in order to honor his rituals.

In his statement, the Grand Marja advised the Shia followers of Ahlulbayt not to be concerned with the criticisms of enemies regarding the observance of these Husseini rituals, emphasizing that any service rendered in the path of Imam Hussein, no matter how small, is great in the sight of Allah and has exceptional rewards.

His Eminence urged everyone to exert their efforts and energies to serve the cause of Imam Hussein and the his sacred rituals, highlighting the fact that learning from Imam Hussein requires enduring spiritual and psychological pressures, as well as physical and material sacrifices.
