Montreal-based Imam Shirazi Centre celebrates Eid al-Ghadir

The Global Imam Shirazi Centre in Montreal, Canada, one of the centres affiliated to the office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, held joyful celebrations on the occasion of the Great Eid of Allah, Eid al-Ghadeer 1445 AH.

The event began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by speeches delivered by Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Saleh Sibweh, the center’s director, and Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Musa al-Fali. The speeches highlighted the significance of Eid al-Ghadeer in Islamic history and its spiritual and social reflections.

The event also featured poems in honor of the blessed memory of Eid al-Ghadeer, expressing joy and allegiance to the Commander of the Faithful, Ali ibn Abi Talib, peace be upon him.

The event witnessed a large gathering of members of the Islamic community in Montreal, who expressed their happiness in commemorating this significant occasion, emphasizing the importance of passing down religious values and promoting unity among Muslims.
