More than 4M pilgrims visit Imam Ali Holy Shrine on Eid-ul-Ghadir

The Imam Ali Holy Shrine has confirmed that the number of visitors who celebrated Eid al-Ghadir exceeded 4 million, while the Governor of Holy Najaf, Youssef Kanawi, announced the success of the Eid al-Ghadir security and organizational plan.

In a press conference followed by Shia Waves Agency, Ahmed Al-Quraishi, a member of the Board of Directors of the holy shrine, stated, “The number of visitors who participated in the Eid al-Ghadir exceeded 4 million over the week,” emphasizing that “more than one million meals were provided throughout the visit.”

He added that “2,500 volunteers participated in serving the visitors, in addition to the shrine’s staff, and more than 60 media outlets covered the event.”

The Governor of Holy Najaf said, “There were no deaths or even injuries worth mentioning during the visit,” explaining that “the Ministers of Interior and Health supervised the security and service plans.”
