Holy shrines in Iraq covered in black to commemorate martyrdom anniversary of Imam Al-Jawad
The holy shrines of Imam Hussein and Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas, peace be upon them, have been covered in black in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Muhammad al-Jawad, peace be upon him.
Shia Waves correspondent in Holy Karbala reported that “banners of mourning and sadness covered the purified courtyards and walls of the Imam Hussein and Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas Shrines to commemorate this painful tragedy.”
The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, continuously emphasizes the importance of communicating the rituals and causes of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.
It should be mentioned that the holy city of Kadhimiya has begun early preparations to receive millions of pilgrims on this occasion, in addition to the large number of mourning Mawakib that will be providing their services to the honourable pilgrims.
