Holy Khadimiya raises banners of mourning over holy domes to mark Imam al-Jawad’s martyrdom

The Khadimiya Holy Shrine has raised the black banners of mourning atop holy domes on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Muhammad al-Jawad Jawad, peace be upon him.

Shia Waves correspondent in Baghdad reported that a large crowd of believers participated in the banner-replacement ceremony, expressed deep sadness over this tragedy of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.

He mentioned that “the Secretariat-General of the Holy Shrine of Imam al-Kadhim announced a series of religious, cultural, and mourning activities for this occasion and prepared all necessary arrangements to receive visitors and mourning processions.”

He also stated that “the mourning processions began their ceremonies yesterday, offering condolences on this painful occasion and recalling the injustices and tragedies that befell the infallible Imam.”
