Shias observe blessed Laylat al-Qadr in Imam Hussein Holy Shrine
In an atmosphere of devotion and spirituality, the Shia followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, observed the blessed third Laylat al-Qadr in the holy shrines of Imam Hussein and his brother Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas, peace be upon them, in Holy Karbala.
Shia Waves correspondent in Holy Karbala reported that visitors from within and outside the holy city came together to observe this blessed night, which coincides with the painful days of the martyrdom of Imam Ali, peace be upon him.
The visitors engaged in collective or individual acts of worship, raising their hands to Allah Almighty with tearful eyes and heartfelt supplications, seeking the blessings of this night, redemption from the fire, and sincere repentance.
The worship ceremonies took place at the shrines of Imam Hussein and al-Abbas, as well as in the area between the holy shrines, with all necessary security and service measures provided by the holy shrines.
The ceremonies began with recitations of opening prayers, the Joushan Kabeer supplication, and the prayer for lifting the Qurans, along with the recitation of specific supplications dedicated to observing the night of Qadr, where the rewards and blessings are immense and known only to Allah Almighty.
