Shirazi-affiliated centres worldwide actively participate in Mid-Sha’ban Pilgrimage

Shia followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, revived last Monday the blessed Mid-Sha’ban Pilgrimage, which marks the blessed birth anniversary of Imam al-Mahdi, may Allah hasten his honourable reappearance.

Based on the instructions of the Supreme Religious Authority Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, centres, mosques and Hussainiyas affiliated to his Eminence’s offices’ all over the world carried out various humanitarian and religious activities to celebrate this blessed occasion.

In Holy Karbala, the Misbah Al-Hussein for Relief and Development distributed sacrificial meat to hundreds of families, with the intention of the safety and protection of the awaited Imam al-Mahdi, may Allah hasten his reappearance.

The initiative was conducted in collaboration with Imam Hussein Charity (IHC) and Imam Hussein Media Group, in coordination with several offices of the religious authority in Iraqi provinces that contributed to distributing the sacrificial meat to beneficiaries.

Similar activities were also conducted in Iraq’s Capital, Baghdad, where Shirazi-affiliated Imam Hussein Madheef or (Refectory), Abu al-Fadl Madheef and Ahlulbayt Center for Islamic Thought distributed sacrificial meat to Shia families in need.

Also, the Union of Shia Channels and Radios affiliated with the Shirazi Religious Authority in the holy city of Najaf slaughtered camels on this occasion and distributed their meat to the needy families.

In the Lebanese capital Beirut, al-Husseini bin Ali Husseiniya organization a celebration to mark the blessed birth of Imam Al-Mahdi, peace be upon him. The celebration was attended by a large number of Shia followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.

The Madagascar-based Shirazi center of Ahlulbayt also celebrated this auspicious occasion by holding joyful ceremonies and religious activities to honor Imam of the Time and Savior of Humanity.

Additionally, hundreds of Husseini Mawakib and service centers were established to serve the hounorable pilgrims through distributing food and drinks.

It should be mentioned that millions of Shia Muslims, from Iraq and world countries, marked the blessed Mid-Sha’ban Pilgrimage in Holy Karbala, amid security and health services.
