Tunisian journalist lauds Shia media for conveying teachings and values of Ahlulbayt

The Tunisian journalist and writer Sadik Slaimeya stated that technological advancements and the establishment of Shia satellite channels have had a significant impact on introducing the culture and thought of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, and their divine positions.

On his visit to Holy Karbala, Slaimeya told Shia Waves Agency that “the success of many followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, in launching satellite channels has greatly enhanced the dissemination of the culture and knowledge of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, and introduced them even to non-Shia Muslims.”

Slaimeya extended his thanks to the Shia media for their unremitting efforts to spread the teachings and true values and knowledge of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, which now encourage people from different walks of life to come to visit their holy shrines.

He also spoke about how these media outlets have combated the deviant ideology of secularism and Wahabi Salafism and their attempts to distort the truth.

Speaking about Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, Slaimeya said, “Imam Aba al-Ahrar was and still is a symbol of redemption, sacrifice, and standing against oppressors,” stressing that “Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, awakened human conscience by sacrificing his soul and the souls of his family members and loyal companions in Holy Karbala.”

The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has consistently emphasized the great importance of the media in spreading truths and introducing authentic Muhammadan Islam, and conveying the culture and ideology of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, to the world.

Imam Hussein Media Group has made a distinctive presence among global Shia media channels in disseminating the teachings and culture of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, and effectively conveying Shia activities and events to the world through its satellite channels in six international languages, as well as the Shia News Agency.
