Baghdad gears up for coming pilgrimage of Imam Musa Al-Kadhim
The Mayrolty of Iraq’s Capital, Baghdad, has announced its special plan to receive the millions of Shia pilgrims who will commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa Al-Kadhim, peace be upon him, at his Holy Shrine, in Holy Kadhimiya.
According to a statement by Baghdad Mayrolty received by Shia Waves Agency: “The mayor of Baghdad, Eng. Ammar Moussa Kazem, discussed in an extensive meeting with the directors general the preparations for the service plan for the commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Musa al-Kadhim, peace be upon him, on the 25th of the current month of Rajab.”
The statement mentioned that: “The meeting discussed plans of coordination with the security agencies, the concerned ministries, the municipality of the holy shrine of Kadhimiya and the Hussaini processions to provide the best services to the visitors who will come on foot from all over the country.”
According to the statement, the mayor of Baghdad instructed the water department of Baghdad “to increase the release of water to the city of Kadhimiya during the massive visit and to prepare the water projects in Holy Kadhimiya.
It should be mentioned that millions of Shia Muslims from Iraq and other neighboring and world countries will commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa Al-Kadhim, peace be upon him, in Baghdad on the 25th of the blessed month of Rajab.
