Al-Abbas Holy Shrine announces readiness to hold World Imam Sajjad Conference

The Al-Abbas Holy Shrine has announced its readiness to hold the Imam Sajjad Conference, as part of the activities of the Second International Week of Imamate.

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Holy Shrine stated that the activities of the 2nd International Week of Imamate, entitled “The Approach of the Imams in Educating the Individual and the Nation”, include a scientific conference about Imam al-Sajjad, peace be upon him.

The statement continued, “The conference includes five dimensions on the impact of the narrations of Imam Sajjad, peace be upon him, on Quranic and exegetical sciences, religious education, as well as psychological, moral, and social education, in addition to literary and cultural education, as well as health and physical education.”

The statement pointed out that the shrine is calling on researchers and interested people from inside and outside Iraq to participate, indicating that there are terms that must be met in the research participating in the conference.
