Coinciding with opening Hiraa Cave St., activists call on Saudi government to rebuild Jannatul Baqi Cemetery

In conjunction with the Fatimaya mourning days, Saudi Arabia has inaugurated the first section of the Hiraa neighborhood project, which includes the access road to the historic Hiraa Cave; where the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his pure family, was first inspired with the clear proofs and verses of his Prophethood.

Religious activists considered that this project, which the Kingdom described as a modern cultural project, is, for Shia loyalists, “a confirmation of the importance of respecting these blessed places that have been honored by the Holy Prophet”.

They told Shia Waves Agency that “the new road leading to the blessed Cave of Hiraa will take only (15 minutes), which will save visitors and pilgrims a lot of difficulties.”

The activists pointed out that “what encouraged them to pay attention to this new project is that it coincided with the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Holy Prophet’s daughter, Sayyeda Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon them.”

They called on the Saudi government to “undertake more projects that introduce Islamic holy sites, especially the rebuilding of the holy tombs of the Imams of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, and the noble companions in Jannatul Baqi al-Gharqad.”
