New details revealed about Speicher Massacre in Iraq]
The head of Rusafa Criminal Court, Diyaa Al-Kanani, revealed the latest developments in the “Speicher” Massacre, and the number of martyred students, confirming that security forces arrested most of the terrorists involved in the crime.
Al-Kinani said, in an interview with the Al-Qadha Newspaper, followed by Al-Sumaria News, that “the Speicher crime committed by ISIS terrorist group is considered a crime against humanity and was internationally condemned.”
The Iraqi official added that “in this massacre, more than 3,000 students were assassinated for no other reason than that they were students who had not yet begun their security responsibilities.”
Al-Kinani pointed out “Most of the perpetrators of the crime have been punished according to the law; the other terrorists are being pursued locally and internationally.”
The international community had condemned this heinous crime and formed an international coalition to confront this terrorist organization and worked to stop its financial and intellectual sources, which constitute a danger to humanity.
It should be noted that the ‘Speicher’ crime was committed in 2014 in Salahuddin Governorate, following the control of ISIS on the city. The number of victims announced was 1,700 martyrs, but according to new details, it is said to be more than 3,000.
