Iraq: Based on intelligence information, 7 ISIS-linked members arrested in Nineveh

The Iraqi Intelligence Agency announced on Wednesday that seven ISIS-linked terrorists were arrested in Nineveh Governorate.

The agency said in a statement that a “terrorism combating-specialized team in Nineveh, based on accurate intelligence information, arrested 7 ISIS terrorist members—wanted in accordance with the provisions of Article Four of the Terrorism law.”

Following investigations, the arrested terrorists confirmed their affiliation with the terrorist organization, and that they had held various positions during their time with the group.
