Art exhibition in Holy Karbala displays precious manuscripts of Karbalaei scholars from 10th century
The art exhibition of photographed manuscripts, held as part of the Karbala Scientific Heritage Conference, succeeded in revealing hidden scientific manuscripts belonging to a number of scholars and thinkers who lived in the city during the tenth century AH, and were neglected by scientific biographical books.
The Karbala Heritage Center, affiliated to al-Abbas Holy Shrine, said in a statement followed by Shia Waves Agency, that “the exhibition included many photographed precious manuscripts belonging to scholars and authors in the holy city of Karbala who lived during the tenth century AH.”
It explained that “the exhibition included (25 manuscripts) of handwritten copies dating back to the 10th century AH from the works of Karbalaei scholars and authors.”
It is worth noting that the exhibition was held on the sidelines of the second international scientific conference titled “The Scientific Movement of Karbala in the 10th century AH”, under the slogan “Our Heritage is Our Identity”, with the presence and participation of researchers and experts from Iraq and other countries.
