News sources reported that Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, was sentenced to three years in prison.
Pakistan’s deposed Prime Minister Imran Khan was sentenced to 3 years in prison and 5 years of disqualification from holding political and legal positions in connection with the financial embezzlement case.
Insaf Party of Pakistan emphasized in a statement that Imran Khan’s prison sentence is a black spot on the record of justice in this country and is nothing but political revenge and a futile attempt to achieve shameful goals.
“I have but one more request, don’t sit quietly in your homes,” Imran Khan tweeted to his fans after the prison sentence was issued against him.
