Muslim Personal Law Board Alleges Mismanagement in Haj This Year

The Muslim Personal Law Board has alleged mismanagement in this year’s Haj pilgrimage, raising concerns about the welfare and safety of the pilgrims. They have pointed out issues such as overcrowding, insufficient accommodation facilities, and inadequate medical support.

 Transparency and fairness in the selection process have also been questioned, with allegations of irregularities in the allocation of Haj quota. Additionally, the handling of transportation arrangements, including delays and confusion in flight schedules, has caused inconvenience and anxiety among the pilgrims.

The Muslim Personal Law Board believe that if Saudi Authorities address the concerns raised and implementing reforms, they can restore faith and confidence in the Haj administration. Upholding fairness, transparency, and accountability is essential in ensuring the well-being and safety of all pilgrims, fostering unity and fulfilment among the global Muslim community.
