Slovakian adventurer, tourist recounts his visit to Iraq, reviving Arba’een Pilgrimage
The Slovakian media website “Aktuality” published, today Sunday, a press interview with the Slovakian adventurer and tourist, Matej Peluha, after his visit to Iraq where he visited various cities.
Peluha, a young man in his thirties, described Iraq in his interview translated by Shia Waves Agency, as “The most friendly, generous and respectful country; especially towards those who come to visit Holy shrines and commemorate the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.”
The Slovakian tourist added that, “The flow of visitors to Iraq proves that the country is increasingly enjoying more security and stability, noting that, “Iraqis are so friendly and welcoming of their guests.”
In his speech about the holy cities, Peluha said that, “A foreign tourist, who visits holy cities, should comply with the culture and traditions, such as clothes and the hijab wearing for women.”
He explained that, “Holy Karbala and Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf are considered the holiest cities as they continually host mourning ceremonies of AhlulBayt, peace be upon them, especially the Tenth of Muharram and the Arbaeen Pilgrimage of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.”
