Madagascar: Shia Muslims renew pledge of allegiance to Imam al-Mahdi on his blessed birth

Shia followers of Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, in the city of Maganga in the Republic of Madagascar, renewed their pledge of allegiance to the Awaited Imam Mahdi (may God Almighty hasten his honorable reappearance) on his blessed birth anniversary, marked on Mid-Sha’ban.

The Director of the Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi in Madagascar, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Musleen Sheikh Muhammad Radhi Wasram said: “The Ahl al-Bayt Center held a joyful ceremony on the night of the fifteenth of Sha’ban in celebration of the birth anniversary of the Awaited Imam (peace be upon him).”

In an interview with Shia Waves Agency, Sheikh Wasram said that “Attendees showed their joy and happiness and signed papers renewing their pledge of allegiance to Imam Mahdi, peace be upon them.”
