In India, in another move of communal hatred, election commission has removed the names of 9,159 Muslim voters from the voters’ list in the Shivajinagar constituency in Bengalore on the direction of BJP-backed private agency, Chilume, according to media outlets.
India’s Muslim communities have faced decades of discrimination, which experts say has worsened under the Hindu nationalist BJP’s government. Congressman, Rizwan Arshad said, Muslim voters are being harassed before the upcoming elections.
