House of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi begins holding mourning ceremonies on martyrdom of Imam Al-Kadhim

On the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa ibn Jafar al-Kadhim, peace be upon him, the honorable house of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, began holding mourning ceremonies.

According to a statement by the official website of the Supreme Religious Authority, the mourning ceremonies have begun today, Thursday, and have been attended by Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, a group of scholars, clerics and students of the Islamic seminaries, as well as large numbered of the followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.

The statement added that the mourning ceremonies are held in Persian in the morning and in Arabic in the evening.

It is worth mentioning that Shirazi-affiliated centers, Husseiniyas and organizations across the world are holding mourning ceremonies to commemorate martyrdom of Imam Al-Kadhim, peace be upon him.
