Shirazi World Foundation calls on International Community to help earthquake victims

In a statement received by Shia Waves Agency, the Shirazi World Foundation expressed solidarity with the two quake-stricken peoples of Turkey and Syria, which left thousands of victims and destroyed properties.

The statement said, “Shirazi World Foundation stands in solidarity with the people of Turkey and Syria and calls on all members of the international community, peoples and governments, to extend a helping hand quickly.”

The Foundation stressed the need for concerted and accelerated efforts by Islamic and Arab countries in particular to work to mitigate the effects of the earthquake and provide aid to the two peoples such as: medical supplies, food and other assistance.

The Foundation commended all Husseini organizations, bodies and processions affiliated to the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Shirazi, for their initiative to help their brothers in Syria and Turkey, it also called on them to double their effort and support towards the victims.
