Imam Ali Holy Shrine has revived the honorable birth anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful – Imam Ali, peace be upon him, today the 13th of the month of Rajab.
The celebration held in the presence of a number of representatives of the offices of the Supreme Religious Authority, distinguished scholars of the honorable Hawza, representatives of various sects and religions, a number of Najaf Police Command officers, a number of members of the Board of Directors of the Holy Shrine, heads of departments, and other believers.
The professor in the honorable Scientific Seminary, His Eminence, Sayyid Ahmad Al-Ashkouri, his speech, tackled the meaning of righteousness, its branches, and how it can be attained according to divine orders.
Adviser to the Pontifical Council for Dialogue of Religions, Dr. Amir Jaji, from the Dominican Republic, mentioned in his speech Imam Ali’s view of religions and praised his humanity-based approach in dealing with non-Muslims.
