Karbala-based Imam Hussein Foundation distributes food baskets to needy families

On the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of the two Infallible Imams al-Baqir and al-Hadi, peace be upon them, and within its ongoing activities, the Imam Hussein Foundation, affiliated to the Supreme Religious Authority in the holy city of Karbala, distributed food aid to the needy and orphan families in the city.

These humanitarian activities are based on recommendations of the Grand Ayatollah, Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life.

The distribution activity was carried out in the Hussainiya of Umm al-Banin, peace be upon her, and covered 350 families.
