The holy city of Karbala in Iraq will host the second edition of the International Quran Exhibition from January 23 – February 21, 2023.
The exhibition, which is held by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, will be staged at Bein Al-Haramein (the area between the two holy shrines) on the occasion of World Quran Day, for the second year.
Last year’s event put on display different works related to the Holy Quran including five historic handwritten Qurans, 63 historic artworks related to the Quran, and 46 copies of the Quran published in various countries.
Some of the displayed items had been gathered from other countries including Syria, Iran, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Bahrain, Turkey, Malaysia, Brunei, Libya, India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Morocco, Germany, and France.
