Under the direct auspices of the Shirazi Religious Authority, several charitable foundations continue to distribute aid and subsidies to poor families
Several charitable foundations affiliated with the Shirazi Religious Authority in Iraq and around the world continued their relief programs to help poor and needy families and families of orphans with the aim of extending a helping hand due to their difficult living conditions.
A statement issued by the Shirazi Religious Authority Office in the holy city of Qom, received by Shia Waves News Agency, said: “Many charitable foundations sponsored by the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi, have continued their relief programs aimed at assisting poor and needy families.”
It continued, “The Imam Hussein Foundation (peace be upon him) in the holy city of Karbala gifted food baskets to a number of needy families in the province,” adding that “the Al-Khair Wa Al-Baraka Cultural Association in the holy city of Najaf also distributed basic food baskets to poor families who are in dire need of assistance.”
The statement also mentioned that “the office of the honorable religious authority in the Afghan city of Mazar-i-Sharif distributed sacrificial meat to Afghan Shia families with the aim of helping them in their difficult circumstances.”
The statement indicated, “His Eminence, the Supreme Religious Authority Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, constantly recommends helping these families and communicating with them to find out their necessary needs in order to overcome the circumstances they are going through.”
