Shia followers of the Ahlulbayt commemorate martyrdom anniversary of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad Redha al-Shirazi
Shia followers of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) in Iraq and the Islamic world renewed their condolences to Imam al-Mahdi, may Allah Almighty hasten his honorable reappearance, on the martyrdom anniversary of the jurist of the Ahlulbayt, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad Redha al-Husseini al-Shirazi.
The Grand Shirazi jurist died on the twenty-sixth of the month of Jumada al-Awwal of the year 1429 AH (2008), in the holy city of Qom in mysterious circumstances, and most likely was killed by the enemies of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), departing this world as a martyr.
The Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad Redha al-Husseini al-Shirazi is the eldest son of the late religious authority, Imam Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad al-Husseini al-Shirazi, who is the elder brother of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi.
