Pakistan: Muslim Unity Council provides assistance to people affected by recent floods
The Muslim Unity Council in Pakistan announced the continuation of its activities to provide assistance to the Shias affected by the floods in the country and to rehabilitate them, after the great losses they suffered.
The council said in a statement seen by Shia Waves Agency: “It distributed the second batch of aid and relief materials to (17 houses) and two mosques in the Dera Ismail Khan area, which were damaged and lost as a result of the floods.”
The statement added, “The aid distribution carried out during a ceremony organized by the Husseiniyah of Khwajjan Lahore and the Council of Muslim Unity.”
