Well-known Turkish newspaper lauds Imam Sajjad’s Sahifa Sajjadiyya

The well-known Turkish newspaper ‘Yını Mesaj’ lauded what it described as ‘the Revival of Knowledge’ based on Imam Zain Al-Abidin Ali bin Al-Hussein’s ‘Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya’.

In the opening article, the newspaper said, “Al-Sahifa Al-Sajjadiyya is an act of worship of Zain al-Abidin (peace be upon him), but not all of his acts of worship as he is the embodiment of worship, good manners and good deeds. The Imam, with the difficulties of his time, educated his people on his supplications and prayers”.

The article emphasized that “If Imam Al-Sajjad fought with his father Imam Hussein (peace be upon them), then this ‘Scripture of Knowledge’ would have been lost, and the political solutions this Sahifa presents that could not be expressed publicly under the oppressive ruling of the Umayyads, would not have been presented.”
