Adam Center for Defending Human Rights and Freedoms held a symposium about the national reconciliation and the rights of the victims of Spiecher massacre as an example with the attendance of many researchers, academicians and lawyers.

During the symposium, the director of the center, Mr. Ahmed Jweid, read a report of the United Nation Commission of Human Rights which details the number of terror acts over the past ten months.

The report showed that the majority of the victims are from Spiecher massacre, that is more than 1700 Shia cadets out of 2500 unarmed cadets of air aviation forces.

The report also shed light upon the crime of Badoosh Prison where more than 600 Shia prisoners were killed on sectarian grounds.

The researchers discussed the concept of national reconciliation linguistically and politically and the possibilities of applying it in Iraq taking into consideration the security and political situations.
