The director of Jalawla district, Yusef Yaqoub, said in a statement that a soldier was killed and another wounded in a terrorist attack launched by ISIS terrorist organization on a security station near the village of Islah, on the outskirts of Jalawla district, late yesterday.

Yaqoub added that the security forces imposed a tight cordon and conducted a combing operation in the area.

Diyala is witnessing attacks by ISIS terrorists from time to time targeting the security points of security forces.
