Greek delegation in Imam Hussein Holy Shrine: Holy Karbala is a city that includes the shrines of great personalities

A Greek tourist delegation visited the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and reviewed a detailed explanation of the Husseini cause, stressing that Holy Karbala is a city that includes the shrines of great personalities.

The delegation toured the shrine of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and expressed its admiration for the Islamic architecture, the museum’s precious collections, and the humanitarian and service projects presented.

The head of the delegation, Babis Byzas, said: “We are a group of 24 men and women who came from Greece to visit the shrine of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and we did not know about the major development projects in the city.”

He added, “We arrived in the holy city of Karbala and visited the shrine of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him,” noting that “the purpose of the visit is to get acquainted with the city of Karbala and its holy shrines, because we consider it one of the most important cities in Iraq and the Arab world because of the shrines of great personalities.”
