Iraq: Over 110 thousand pilgrims enter through Shalamcheh border crossing to perform Arbaeen Pilgrimage

Basra Operations Commander announced yesterday, Sunday, that security forces secured the entry of 23,000 pilgrims through the Shalamcheh border crossing to perform the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.

He added that the number of pilgrims who crossed through the border was more than 110 thousand within four days.

The commander inspected the Shalamcheh border crossing to see the daily work and procedures for the flow of pilgrims performing the ceremonies of the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
