Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in holy Qom recalls instructions of his Eminence on Arbaeen Pilgrimage
The Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, repeatedly recommends, in several speeches, the importance of making the necessary efforts to facilitate the arrival of pilgrims from different countries of the world to commemorate the blessed Arbaeen Pilgrimage.
His Eminence also praises efforts exerted by the believers who participate in reviving this blessed Husseini ritual.
The commandments of the Shirazi Religious Authority in this regard, were recalled by his office in the holy city of Qom, in which he said: “All appreciation and reverence to those who work to facilitate the Arbaeen Pilgrimage; those who have borrowed money or sold their houses, cars, places of earning and trade, and all those who bear the trouble of traveling to Holy Karbala and to all the honorable pilgrims.”
His Eminence states, “When pilgrims to Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) enter Karbala, all the Prophets (peace be upon them) shake hands with them, and they may not feel that, but they will see the results of that in the future,” indicating that “those who intend to visit Abu Abdullah al-Hussein (peace be upon him), they should know their own worth and the great status that God Almighty has bestowed upon them.”
The Grand Ayatollah also points out that “the service to Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) has an important impact on all of humanity, which is that every person wills it or not, if he provides service on the path of the Master of Martyrs (peace be upon him), he will see the results of this service both in this world and in the hereafter.”
