Iraq’s Holy Shrines raise banner of sadness on martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hassan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him)
The banner of mourning was raised at all holy shrines in Iraq on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Mujtaba, peace be upon him.
His Eminence, the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, while emphasizing on the establishment of new rituals of mourning over the tragedies of Ahlulbayt, said that all these rituals, as long as do not involve impermissible acts, are sacred.
During the martyrdom of Imam Hassan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him), the holy shrines of Imam Ali, Imam Hussein, Abu al-Fadhel al-Abbas, Kadhimiya and Al-Askariyain, peace be upon them, in a joint statement invited the believers to attend this ritual.
The mourners participated in this ceremony of raising the banner of sadness on the night of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hassan al-Mujtaba, peace be upon him, in the holy shrines in Iraq.
