Muslim writer: The West seeks to undermine awareness of young Muslim generations
The Muslim writer, Dr. Wael Samir, warned against the West’s efforts to weaken the awareness of generations of Muslim youth about their religion and issues that are in fact the way to their glory and honor.
In his statements, Samir referred to the plans of the West to occupy Muslims with forbidden acts and to indulge in desires and trivial issues such as football, internet and mobile phones, turning these things into basic matters in their lives and take their time and occupy their thinking.
The writer stressed the need to confront these schemes, save the youth from this trap, instill awareness among our sons and girls, and draw their attention to the nation’s issues and conditions.
Samir’s statements came after repeated calls for the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, who emphasizes the importance of arming the youth with religious awareness and culture, and encouraging them to work and develop themselves to face the current challenges.
