Eid al-Ghadir celebrations in centers and Husseiniyahs affiliated with the Shirazi Religious Authority Office around the world
Ceremonies celebrating the blessed Eid al-Ghadir were organized by centers and Husseiniyahs affiliated with the Office of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi around the world.
In Australia, a celebration was held at Husseiniyat Ale Yassin in Sydney. Lectures were delivered by Sheikh Ali Mahdi Al-Amili and Sheikh Muhammad Al-Rumaid in English and Arabic, respectively. Crowds of Ahlulbayt followers including several well known reciters attended the event.
In Syria, a joyous ceremony was held in the Husseiniyah of the Zainabiya Islamic Seminary for Women. Poems and praises in honor of the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, were recited.
In Majunga, Madagascar, local Ahlulbayt followers attended the Eid al-Ghadir celebrations at the office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi.
In Virginia, USA, the Eid al-Ghadir celebration was organized by the Imam Ali Center, peace be upon him.
In the holy city of Qom, Eid al-Ghadir ceremonies were held in the honorable house of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi.
In Afghanistan, a joyous celebration of Eid al-Ghadir was held at the complex of Lady Fatima al-Zahra Complex in Kabul.
Representatives of the Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi in Kabul, participated in the event alongside a large number of followers of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.
The ceremony started with the recitation of verses from the Noble Quran, followed by the recitation of poems in honor of the occasion.
The main lecture was delivered by Sayyed Ali Hassan Husseini, who said in his lecture:
“Today, the peoples of the world face many problems because they have moved away from the culture of Ghadir, have not studied the culture of Ghadir, and have not followed the culture of Ghadir, and as long as they have not become Ghadir, these problems will continue.”
The Ghadiris are the ones who follow the divine book and abide by it and act upon it and the behavior of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, and it is the culture of Ghadir, otherwise they would be on the wrong path.
