Shia associations and centers in several Swedish cities welcomed the resumption of their cultural and religious activities, after the decline of the Corona virus and the lifting of health restrictions.
The associations and centers affiliated with the Ahlulbayt followers affirmed in special statements followed by Shia Waves that “the activities they provide are very important for communicating with the Shia communities in Sweden and nourishing them culturally and religiously, as well as reviving prayers, religious lectures and sacred rituals.”
The Islamic Unity Association in Christian Stadium, for its part, said in a statement: “It has resumed the establishment of cultural and religious programs and Quranic lessons after lifting Corona restrictions from the country,” noting that “there are many postponed programs that will be activated in the coming days in order to serve the children of Shia communities.”
The statement added that “the Arab schools affiliated with it have also resumed their educational programs to receive male and female students from the Shia and Muslim communities to complete their lessons in person.”
Meanwhile, the Shia Youth Association in Sweden also announced its condolence program to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa al-Kadhum, peace be upon him, calling on parents to encourage their sons and daughters to attend religious ceremonies and lectures to commemorate this painful memory.
