More than 1,000 Shia pilgrims from the Republic of Azerbaijan have arrived in the holy city of Mashhad, making it one of the largest convoys to reach the city from another country.
As usual, the Azerbaijani caravans begin their visit by visiting Imam Ali bin Musa al-Redha, peace be upon him, and then travel to Iraq to visit the holy shrines.
After arriving at the Holy Shrine, the convoy gathered at the Dar al-Rahma corridor to take advantage of the special programs of the Department of Foreign Visitors Affairs at the Holy Shrine.
“For the fourth time, more than 1,000 people from Azerbaijan are honored to visit the city of Mashhad,” said convoy leader and the Imam of Baku.
The Azerbaijani people have become more aware of the Ahlulbayt, in recent years. This shows their true love to the Infallible Imams, peace be upon them.
