The participants said, “The love of the Noble Prophet and his family, peace be upon them, cannot be denied, for it is a gift from God.”
The Shias criticized the repeated cases of abuse of the status of the Imams, peace be upon them, demanding the punishment of everyone who insults their honorable status, pointing out that “the Shias do not abuse figures of other beliefs and always adhere to peace, while attacks are launched against them from before the extremists.”
They also pointed out that “such abuses are repeated every year prior to the Ashura commemoration of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, with the aim of creating strife and offending the sacred Husseini rituals.”
