Ahlulbayt followers in Bangladesh expressed their great sadness on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Jafar al-Sadiq, peace be upon him.
The followers of the Jafari sect set up mourning ceremonies in different areas of Khulna, the third largest city in Bangladesh.
According to what was reported by media outlets, which were followed by Shia Waves, “the mourning ceremonies included holding religious lectures and the ritual of beating the chests, and reading elegies and religious poems.”
The sources added that “speakers delivered lectures on the biography of the Infallible Imam, peace be upon him.”
It is noteworthy that the mourning ceremonies witnessed a remarkable presence of mourners, who shed tears of heartbreak and sorrow on this painful memory.
