The Benjamin National Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, witnessed thousands crowding the stadium’s stands to attend the 2021 Grand Africa Competition for the Holy Quran.
The Grand Africa Competition for the Holy Quran, organized by the Al-Hikma Educational Foundation, includes 21 contestants from various African countries. This year marks the competition’s 21st edition, in the presence of the Prime Minister of Tanzania, Kassim Majaliwa, and the President of Zanzibar, Hussein Ali Mwinyi.
Niger, Sudan, and Nigeria, in addition to Tanzania and Ivory Coast, won the first five places in the competition, respectively.
