A two-day scientific symposium was held under the title “How do we understand the Holy Quran?” to introduce Quranic concepts at Aligarh Islamic University in India.
The former president of the College of Islamic Studies at Aligarh Islamic University, Zafar Islam Islahi, lectured at the event, saying, “The Noble Quran is the most comprehensive book in explaining the teachings of the Islamic religion.”
He added, “Understanding the Quran is a major aspect of Muslims’ life,” confirming that the holy book guides people to the light of faith and knowledge, and its teachings bring people out of darkness and ignorance.
