Human rights organization issues report on the mass graves of ISIS terrorist victims in Diyala
The Diyala Organization for Human Rights revealed the total number of mass graves of victims of ISIS terrorist that were discovered in the province.
The head of the Diyala Organization for Human Rights in Diyala, Talib Al-Khazraji, said in a statement that after the liberation of Diyala’s cities, which were captured by ISIS after June 2014, 6 mass graves were discovered, including bodies of civilians and security personnel, who were executed by the terrorist organization in areas within the borders of Al-Saadiyah district and its environs.
He added, that the total of the bodies of the martyrs that were found in the graves is more than 70, pointing out that there may be other graves that have not yet been discovered because the total of those kidnapped by ISIS during the period of its incursion are more than 210 people, andthe fate of most of them remains unknown until today.
ISIS cells invaded several cities in Diyala after June 2014 and kidnapped dozens and executed them in heinous massacres, some of which were broadcast on the terrorist organization’s websites.
