SRW: Shias in Pakistan are subjected to organized violence
A recent 18-page report titled “Statistics and Analysis of Information on Organized Violence, Terrorism and Intimidation Against Shias in Pakistan,” was published by Shia Rights Watch International Organization.
A recent 18-page report titled “Statistics and Analysis of Information on Organized Violence, Terrorism and Intimidation Against Shias in Pakistan,” was published by Shia Rights Watch International Organization.
The report mentions the hostile practices against Shias from 2012 to 2016 prepared by some local activists in Pakistan, where they said that the areas inhabited by Shias in the country havebeen subjected to 914 hostile attacks during the past four years, leading to the death of more than 2040 Shias and injuring 2558 others.
According to SRW, the casualties were massive, and as a result, attacks by terrorists have led to the martyrdom and injury of 4598 Shias in the period from 2012 to 2016.
