An educational course on Quran memorization and Tajweed principles was held for 89 boys in the Comoro Islands.
According to sources, the Holy Quran Memorization International Organization held the 50-day course in cooperation with Sa’d ibn Mu’adh Quran Memorization and Recitation Center.
The participants learned reading and memorizing the Quran, Tajweed principles and a number of the Quranic supplications.
Top participants were awarded in a ceremony which was attended by the organizers and Quran activists of the region.
The efforts of the Holy Quran Memorization International Organization in serving the Divine Book and supporting Quran memorizers all over the world were highlighted in the ceremony.
Almost 98 percent of the population in the Comoros, a group of 4 islands in the Indian Ocean, are Muslim.
