Mourning ceremonies were held in his Eminence's house to mark this sad occasion
Martyrdom anniversary of the fifth infallible Imam, Imam Muhammad al-Baqir, peace be upon him, was marked in the honorable house of the Eminent Grand Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq Husseini Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life.
Mourning ceremonies were held in his Eminence’s house to mark this sad occasion.
The ceremonies were attended by a large number of scholars, orators, high- ranking people, and Hawza students.
The orators spoke about the biography of the Initiator of Sciences and the Heir of the Knowledge of the Prophets.
Imam Mohammad al-Baqir, peace be upon him, was martyred by poison on the seventh day of the month of Thul al-Hajjah in the year 114 AH in the holy city of Medina by the ruling Umayyad caliph. The Holy Imam, peace be upon him, was buried in the Baqi cemetery in the holy city of Medina.
