Bulgaria Launches National Fundraising Campaign to Complete Islamic Educational Complex in Sofia

The Grand Muftiate of Bulgaria has launched a nationwide fundraising campaign to complete the renovation and development of the Islamic educational complex in Sofia, aiming to strengthen religious education and provide improved learning and community facilities for children, young people, and future generations.

The complex includes the Sofia Religious School and the Higher Islamic Institute, both of which have benefited from three years of community-supported renovation efforts. The school has resumed activities in improved facilities, while the institute has begun the new academic year in its renovated building.

The remaining work includes a multipurpose hall for religious and social events, weddings, conferences and cultural activities, as well as a library, study areas, a religious bookshop, a restaurant, and improved outdoor spaces.
